Show STRONG MARKET WEAK Oil FINAL HOUR Reports of Dry Weather in Nebraska Ne-braska and Kansas Balanced by News From Northwest. CHICAGO. April 13. The wheat market mar-ket opened stroncr because of dry weather weath-er In parts of Kansas and Nebraska and small receipts ln the Northwest. After the first hour the volume of trade became be-came small but the strength was well maintained, a decrease of 1,035,000 bushels bush-els In the visible supply tending to sustain sus-tain prices at a moderate advance. In the (Inn) hour, however, sentiment became be-came bearish on account of reports from the Northwest that seeding operations aro in full swing all ovor the spring wlioat country. The market closed- weak. Muy opened' iBe higher at 922c to 92Jc at 92c and then declined to 91c. The close was at 91 Sc. Corn was strong for the greater part of the day. the May delivery selling ut 68Jc, which wna a ncw high mark for the season. Light receipts and the strength of wheat were the principal bullish bull-ish influences. Some weakness developed during the final hour because of increased country acceptances. The clone was easy. May opened unchanged at GTSeSc. advanced ad-vanced to 6S3c nnd then declined to 67Jc The close wns at 67c. Trading In oats was quiet. The market mar-ket opened firm, along with wheat and corn, but weakened on favorable weather for seed. The close was easv. Mav opened c higher at 532c, sold up to 51c and then declined to 531c. where it closed. Provisions openod firm because of (,he strength of grain, but later weakened on a ten-cent decline in live hogs and the easier tone of wheat and. corn.
