L. 1 Mangum of Provo both expressed abso-: abso-: lute confidence in the compaivy's plans. Mr. McMillan was In Provo the latter ! p'art of last week for the purpose of attending at-tending tho regular monthly directors' meeting of the Black Jack Mining company. com-pany. He stated Monday morning that in his opinion every possible consideration considera-tion was present to make the Tlntic plant tho sucgess the officials anticipate. 'The company has absolutely nothing to fear from outside Interference from the agricultural interests, as there are no farming lands sufficiently near to allow any damage to vegetation. Then the company has an unlimited amount of rich ores for the furnaces, while the quality and extent of fluxing rock available are unparalleled anywhere. Mr.' Mangum came up from Provo Mon- day morning, being called to Salt Lake on 7 jury duty. Tlr stated to The Tribune ' that the Tlntic company would be ready to receive ores from the customers by the 15th of May. and that It is now the plan to begin actual smelling operations -some time between the 1st and the 15th of next June.
