Show gold srmies CAMP FORGING AHEAD FASI W. H. Brame! Was Astonished at the Showing in Rich Utah Section . "The splendid mineral showing one can find round the Gold Springs district of U.tah fairly astonished me." said Y. 11. Bramol, of the well-known legal firm of Street & Bramel, on Tuesday. He had returned from a several days' visit to the district In question, and with a highly flattering opinion of the resources of this rich L'tah mining section. "One of the marvels of the district." continued Mr. Bramel. "is the noted Wild Irish vein. Tills enormous ledge forms a rldgo In the center of a valley, some of tho eroppings making quite a hill as the voln extends along a mile in length. It is dozens of yards wide in places, white In other places it Is a. hundred yards in width. The vein has been sampled innumerable in-numerable times by trenching and sur-lace sur-lace crosscuts, and the lowest sample ever obtained carried .$5.70 gold per ton. "I am almost afraid to give the estimate esti-mate on available tonnage In this great ledge, but undoubtedly there arc millions ! or tons of orc waiting to be mined and milled there. Jn numerous places along its strike shafts have been driven and crosscuts run from the bottom, showing that the values Increase steadily as depth Is gained, as could bo expected 'from such a center of gold wealth. The property Is In charge of Cecil Newell, and considerable consider-able development work is now being done, : but a groater campaign of exploration Is I planned to becln very soon. I But as big and full of tremendous promise as this Wild Irish ledge Is, it Is the property of tho Wild Irish company by the way. I would hardly call It the largest source .of wealth in the district. The Snowflake vein, while not so large as the other, is richer In gold, and from It the owners are getting some remarkable remark-able gold values. I visited the Jennie property and mill, and was very much pleased with the way in which tills company com-pany Is transacting its. affairs. I was informed the mill is treating 100 tons of ore daily in the mill, and the company is mining a good grade of paying ore. "Taking Gold Springs district all In all. it Is what I deem one of the greatest gold sections on the globe, and the mines there will be producing gold when manv of ! the greatest gold camps in the world" are ' torgotten. The deepest workings in the district are on the Jennie property, which are down 175 feet so far. To the westward west-ward of Gold Springs Is the Deer Lodge district, where magnificent gold and silver sil-ver values nre being brought to view, there Is considerable excitement down that way over the discoveries of gold In null valley, and many prospectors are rushing to tho scene of Interest to investigate in-vestigate this section. Bull vallev Is located lo-cated twelve miles south of Modcna. The oil excitement down at Virgin Is not so acute at present as It was sex-eral weeks ago. but I learned that two good wella had been opened, and that the splendid rig of II, II. Clark will be making fine history for the Virgin field before long." New York Mining Stocks, .lames A.
