Joseph Bogan. aged 10 years, attempted to commit sululdc Friday Fri-day morning, in the Montana rooming house, by taking cocaine. Me was discovered dis-covered shortly afterward by an employee em-ployee of the house, and the police were notified. Bogan was taken to the emergency hospital at the city Jail, and Cltv Physician Physi-cian Stewart was called. It required over an hour's work to bring the boy back to consciousness. Ills father, who lives on Capitol hill, was sent for, and took the boy home with him. He denied that his son was addicted to tho cocaine habit, and said the only possible reason for his taking 11 was that ho had become discouraged dis-couraged with life. Bogan was released from the cltv jail only a few days ago. after scrvfng a forty-days' sentence for vagrancy. |
