For legal services rendered In the annulment an-nulment of the marriage of Max Brown, son of tho late Senator Urown, In Chicago, Chi-cago, during tho summer of l'JOO, Attorneys Attor-neys Charles .M. Harlan -and Morion J. Stovenson have tiled an action In the Third District court against Max Brown, as executor of the last will and testament testa-ment of Arthur Brown, to collect a balance bal-ance of $71Ti which they allege Is due them. It Is set out iu the complaint that the attorneys were employed by Arthur Brown, July 1, 100G. to examine the law and prosecute In the Superior court of Cook county an action for the annulment annul-ment of the marriage of Max Brown. This is followed by the allegation that they performed the service for which they wore employed and that they secured a decres annulling tbo marriage. The attorneys at-torneys then allege that $750 was a reasonable rea-sonable fee for the service rendered and demand judgment for $72o. It Is admitted admit-ted that Mr. Brown paid them $25.
