Show WAITING ON ELECTRICIANS Councilman Orabtree Throws Light on a Proposed Oraiuu At a rally nf the T "K ' Sunday one of the members of the Electrical Workers' union is reported as saying that the present City Council had taken no action in regard to the ordinance that was presented which provides for the creation of the office of City Electrician, and is a general revision of the present ordinances ordi-nances pertaining to electrical wiring wir-ing and all things electrical. Councilman Crabtrec stated Monday that tho matter had been tied up at the request of one of the members of the Electrical Workers' union; that it was scheduled to come up before the committee one Thursday evening several, sev-eral, weeks ago, and that ono of tho members of the union had requested that the matter should go over for a while, as there was some diversity of opinion among those interested in the matter as to just what should be embodied em-bodied in the ordinances; that he )n' been waiting to hear again from the union men as to what they -want as tho shape the matter, which is very voluminous. ja in ;it nrcoeiit : makes it impossible for tho Council, without tho aid of electrical inon, -to do anything with it.
