Show NON-SUIT GRANTED Mrs. Isabella Tidd Fails in Case Against Telephone Company. Special to The Tribune. PROVO, Oct. S. A jury was empaneled empan-eled in tho District court today to try the case of Isabella Tidd vs. tho Rocky Mountain Bell Telcphouo company. The plaintiff is suing for damages alleged to have been sustained through the failure of the company to deliver a telephone tel-ephone message. Mrs. Tidd's son was taken sick at Morcur and was taken from thero to a hospital in Salt Lake, whero he died. It is alleged in the eom-plnint eom-plnint that a telephone message was sent to Mrs. Tidd here in Provo to come to her son, and this message was not delivered und as a result Mrs. Tidd failed to sec her son before ho died. For this failure she asks for damages. dam-ages. After the evidenco for plaintiff was hoard, a motion for non-suit was granted. James Norton of Alberta. Can., and Mary Holt of Spanish Fork have been granted a license to marry. |
