OCR Text	Show STRIKE NOT LIKELY This Is Embassador's View of the Russian Rus-sian Situation. WASHINGTON, July 30. Embassador Embassa-dor Mayer at St. Petersburg sent a dispatch to tho State department today in which ho reviews tlio situation in Russia and says there seems to bo no probability of general strike of laborers la-borers at this time. "It ia now eight days sinco the dissolution dis-solution of the National assembly," Mr. Mayer's dispatch stated, "and contrary con-trary to expectations and prophocics of tlio press, the calm-continues here. The Putiloff laborers seem to have abandoned aban-doned tho idea of striking. It is thought the central labor committee will send out vord to abstain from strikes of a political diameter. All indications continue to point to tho improbability of general strikes."
