The Utah presbytery met in the Westminster West-minster Prcsbj'terian chuch at 2:30, Friday aftornoon, for tho purpose of transacting a few matters requiring to be disposed of before tho regular annual an-nual meeting of tho presbytery. TJ10 most important of these was the acceptance ac-ceptance of the resignation of Rev. McLain W. Davis as pastor of tho Westminster church of Salt Lake. "Rev. Davis resigned tho pnstorato of Westminster West-minster to accept a call to tho First Presbyterian church of Green River, Utah, to which field of labor he will o next weolc. For the present Westminster Westmin-ster church will bo without a pastor, as no one has as yet been called to fill the pulpit. Rev. Josiah McC'lain, acted as moderator moder-ator of the prcsbytco'. Those in attendance at-tendance were Rev. R. G. McNiece of Salt Lake, Rev. A. G. Frank' of Mt. Pleasant, Rev. John, Nelson of Pa3'son, and Rev. John C. Carver of Ogden; Elder Georee M.
