Island of Hawaii, says that seven Koreans wero today convicted of murder In the llrsl degree in tho Superior Su-perior court. A fellow-countryman was suspected of having stolen $o0 from another Korean, and instead of reporting the theft to the pollco the friends of the man who lost the money adopted unusual methods to recover it-Was it-Was Horribly Tortured. The suspected Korean was chased through the cane Holds and, when captured, cap-tured, was beaten with sticks and stones until he was exhausted.
