Another meeting meet-ing of tho Independent coal operators of tho bituminous coal fields will, In all llko-Uhood, llko-Uhood, be held In Pittsburg prior to going to Indianapolis for the mooting on March 19. George A. Mngoon, representing tho Pittsburg and Westmoreland Coal company, com-pany, nnd F. L. Robblns. chairman of tho Pittsburg Conl company, who Is representing repre-senting tho bituminous operators, met in this city on Saturday and tho latter agreed to call another meeting of the operators beforo March 19. Tho meeting probably will be held the latter part of tho week or early next week. Mitchell Stops Dolnn's Pay, William Dodds, sccrotary-treosurcr of District No. 1. United Mine Workers of America, has received a letter from President Presi-dent Mitchell Informing the district secretary secre-tary that ho will bo held responsible for the payment of all money out of the district dis-trict treasury. Tho National leader asserts that President Presi-dent Dolan should not roceivc nny moro money from the miners of this district. Mr. Dolan says tbnt ho Is still tho district dis-trict president, and ho demands that $110 bo turned over to him each month as his galary. Dolan holds a $1000 bond furnished by Dodds, providing for a "faithful performance per-formance of duty" on the part of tho district secretary- |
