Mayne of 100 Main street honored Miss Clara Patterson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Patterson of Salt Lake City, who will become the bride of William C. Mayne, Jr., on December 11. Four tables were arranged for five hundred, prizes being won by Mrs. Jack Davidson, Mrs. R. K. Streator and Elva Cooper of Salt Lake City. Mrs Patterson won house prize. Shower Given A "House" shower for Mrs. Kenneth Nell, whose furnishings were lost in the recent Grand apartment fire, was given Wed-nesday afternoon by Mrs. H- M. Rasmussen of Bingham at the Charles Sullenger home at Cop-perton. Sixteen guests were bidden to the one o'clock luncheon. Fall flowers formed the centerpiece. Prizes at bridge went to Mrs. E-V. American Legion Auxiliary A dancing party for girls who assisted in Poppy day sales was planned at the American Legion auxiliary meeting held Wednes-day evening at the home of Mrs-Joh- Dahlstrom of Copperton with Mrs. Elliott W, Evans as assisting hostess. The social will be held Saturday afternoon, Nov-ember 16, exact time and place to be announced later by Mrs. J. Dewey Knudsen, chairman, and ' Mrs. D. J. Sullivan, president. Mrs. Ross Hocking made a re-port on welfare work. The aux-iliary pledged support to the Legion for their Armistice day dance. November 11, at the Civic Center, at which selective service registrants will be special guests. Irene Anderson gave a program of readings. Bridge was played with Mrs S. W.
