Show Entertaining at ttieir home after af-ter Halloween dancing, Mr. and Mrs. Kermith L. Isbell had as their guests Mr. and Mrs. W. L. Faddis of American Fork, Mr. and Mrs. C. A. Morley of Bingham, Bing-ham, Mr. and Mrs. E. S. Grant and Mr. and Mrs. Ted Robison, also of Bingham. Miss Helen Loveless spent the week-end in Lehi, and brought home with her Mrs- Lettie Gud-mundsen, Gud-mundsen, her grandmother, who will visit here indefinitely. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Gammell and family spent the week-end with relatives in Spanish Fork. Mary Hess, who has been living liv-ing in Salt Lake City while attending at-tending the Henager Business csl-lege, csl-lege, has returned to Copperton to live with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Hess. Students of Westminster college, col-lege, Jean Frazier and Sally Lew Curry, spent last week-end with their parents, Mrs. R. G. Frazier and Mr. and Mrs. Dave Curry. Mrs. George McDonald of Mid-vale Mid-vale spent Wednesday visiting here with friends and relatives. Mr. and Mrs. H. L. Goff entertained enter-tained two tables of bridge Tuesday Tues-day evening at their home. Mr-and Mr-and Mrs. J. D. Laycock, Mr. and Mrs. G. T. Buckle, Mr. and Mrs. A E. Mitchell were guests. Prizes Priz-es went to Mrs. Mitchell and Mr-Buckle. Mr-Buckle. A light luncheon was served. Mr. and Mrs. E. V. Knudsen and son, Jack, spent last weekend week-end visiting with Mrs. Knudsen's mother, Mrs. Sam Christensen of Fairview. Mrs. L- E. Barnett entertained her pinochle club at her home Wednesday. Members present were Mrs. Ida Mugfur, Mrs. Gilbert Gil-bert Swain, Mrs. Bud Nichol, Mrs. R. E. Streator, Mrs. A. J. Baum, Mrs. George McDonald-Mrs. McDonald-Mrs. Baum and Mrs- McDonald won prizes. Light refreshments were served- The Copperton L. D. S. ward Relief society held a quilting at the home of Mrs. Fred Cox Thursday. Mrs- E- V. Knudsen served the luncheon- Faye McKeller and Dahrl Rae Mitchell were guests of Dorothy Hansen at a theatre party in Salt Lake City Tuesday night. Mr. and Mrs. Mark Hansen were chaperones. Mr- and Mrs O- C. Jones and Mr. and Mrs. J- H. Colyar were Suqfday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Elmo Nester of Salt Lake City. A costume Halloween party was held at the J. II. Colyar home last Thursday. Guests were the Rev. and Mrs. M- Smith, Rachel O'Conner, Lyman Yarnell, James Barkle Jr , Mr. and Mrs. Elmo Nester and Robert Colyar. The Copperton L. D. S- Relief society bazaar, a benefit for the ward chapel now under construction, construc-tion, will be held at 7 p. m. Monday Mon-day at the Copperton grade school. A program will be presented pre-sented and aprons, handwork, pastry, cakes, candy and ice cream will go on sale, it is announced an-nounced by Mrs. Pearl Cheever, president. v Copperton By Betty Barnett Howard Buchman and A. E. Mitchell attended the football game at Boulder, Colo., and spent last week-end in Denver. Halloween was enjoyed Thursday Thurs-day night at the L. C- Jones home. Present on invitation of Miriam Jones, hostess, were Clayton Clay-ton DeBruin, Faye McKellar, Jack Pollick, Faye Cowdell, Bill Hatch, Don Andreason and Dahrl Rae Mitchell. A black and orange color scheme was carried out in decorations and the lovely luncheon. lunch-eon. Yates of Midvale spent several days last week in Copperton Cop-perton with her daughter, Mrs. Charles H- Winn- Miss Mabel Neprud, Mrs. Art Maly and Miss Midge Jensen spent the week-end as guests of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Wagner at Elko, New, and returned home Sunday night- Attending the Beta Theta Pi Mothers' luncheon at the fraternity frater-nity house in Salt Lake City Wednesday was Mrs- J. H. Colyar. Col-yar. Mr. and Mrs. P- O. Loveless and Russell and Duane visited with friends and relatives last week-end in Payson. Mrs- R. T. Smith returned Rome from St. Mark's hospital Monday after undergoing a minor operation. |
