Show POSTMASTERS WILL MEET AT PR0V0 Programmes have been issued for the first annual meeting of the Utah Postmasters' Post-masters' association at Provo on July 20 and 21. Great preparations have been mado to entertain all members who attend. at-tend. The Intention of the committee Is that It shall be a pleasure t-ip as well as one of considerable benefit to tho postmasters and to the postal service. ser-vice. In the morning session of the opening day an Invocation by the Rev. S. H. Goodwin and address of welcome by Senator Smoo.t, and an address by the Hon. A. L. Thomas, with solos bv Miss ArvJlla Clark and Prof. A. C. "Lund, are the chief events. In the afternoon of the saihe day Senator Sen-ator Kcarns, the Hon. R. F. Lawson and a representative of the Postofflce department from Washington. D. C , will address the meeting, and Miss Emma Em-ma Ramsey will give a solo. In the evening a special train will convoy the postmasters and their guests up Provo canyon, where a banquet and ball will take place. On the 21st Congressman Howell and Hamilton Hopkins of St. Claire, Mich., will mako speeches, and the vest of the day will be devoted to miscellaneous business and sight-seeing. |
