Show lNEW ENGiNES AND NEW HOIST AT SILVER KING ' Special to The Tribune. PARK CITY, Oct. 2S. A groat deal of work Is going on at present at tho Silver King Consolidated. A new engine has been put in. and as soon as possible a new hoist will bo Installed. Tho now engine is much better than the old one, and tho new hoist will bo of such a character a3 to double the present capacity of the mine. This will be ndvnntageous Juat at present In baling out tho water, which is causing caus-ing a great deal of trouble. These improvements im-provements will ennble the work at this property to bo continued during tho winter I at a much moro rapid rate than 'n the I past. a The body of the lato Norman Jeff, who died so suddenly at the Daly West day before yesterday, was shipped to Salt Lake for interment. J. M. Lockharl returned this morning from a brier visit to the metropolis. a a e Mrs. L. B. Wight and children returned tills morning from n. ten days' visit with relatives In Salt Lake. 9 Prof. Lyman of the University of Utah will address the teachers of tho Park City public schools at their regular monthly meeting tomorrow forenoon. |
