An entertaining programme of athletic events waa pulled qff at the gymnasium of tho Utah Athletic and Soclul club on Main street last evening. Boxing, wrestling, wres-tling, fencing and bar work were Included on tho card and the 200 spectators were Given tho full worth of the admission fee. Youngsters Uix Fiercely. Perhaps the featuro of the evening was tho last two bouts on the programmo between be-tween Hackney and Green and Glea3on and Smith. Theso youngsters displayed considerable ability for amateurs and wero ready to mix at all times, much to tho delight of tho crowd. Honors were about even In both events and the referee declared both draws. Terry Davis, challenger of the Stato at 122 pounds, boxed four exhibition rounds with a youngster mimed Lyons. Davis showed considerable speed and cleverness, but did not demonstrate that ho has a sleep-producing punch.
