' The strikers have taken It to mean i that the packers have determined to operate their plants at once with large forces of nonunion men, and the pickets pick-ets have, been increased in tho vicinity of the packing-houses. The situation In St. Louis is practically practi-cally unchanged. The price of meat opened today with a slight Increase over the closing quotations of Saturday.
