Show ' COUNCIL DISPOSES ROUTINEBUSINESS Bingham Canyon will be represented re-presented by a city float in the Salt Lake county fair parade at Murray August 28, the council determined at the Wednesday night meeting. Earl T. James appeared ap-peared before the council requesting re-questing their consideration of a float to represent the city. The city will also have an entry in the Covered Wagons day parade, pa-rade, it was decided. Bills amounting to $2532.15 were aproved by the council for payment. A delegation from the CIO, obtained permission to use a sound system on Main street between be-tween the hours of 9 and 10 a.m. and 6 and 7 p.m. A letter from the Utah Construction Con-struction company dealing with the road widening project near No. 2 Fire hall was tabled because be-cause of lack of funds. It was decided to mark off parking spaces from the curb on Main street showing proper distance of parking from the curb and length allowed for parking each car. O |
