Show ALUMINUM GIVEN TO AIDDEFENSE An excellent public response to the first appeal for old aluminum alumi-num made by Mayor Ed W. Johnson, John-son, Boy Scouts and the American Ameri-can Legion auxiliary to post No. 30, was reported by those in charge of the collection last Friday Fri-day and Saturday. About 150 pounds of the precious pre-cious defense metal were taken to the City hall, Mayor Johnson reported. Tickets were given 200 youngsters for admission to the Princess theatre Sunday and Monday. Members of the American Legion Le-gion auxiliary who were at the City hall to take charge of aluminum alum-inum donations, were Mrs. D. J-Sullivan, J-Sullivan, Mrs. J. Dewey Knudsen, Knud-sen, Mrs. Wayne Shelley and Mrs. Mike Brisk. |
