Butchers Butch-ers were expecting a consignment of spring lambs, and other kinds of meat, but nothing showed up; fishmongers wore looking for a largo shipment of all kinds of fish, and two or three carloads of oranges, one car of mixed fruit and a big lot of green stuff. All are held up. The only fresh arrival yesterday was a ohlpment of Utah poultry. This product will be plentiful all tho week, as a consignment con-signment of Eastern dressed hens will come today, and tho market is already pretty well Blocked. Fish was extremely scarce yesterday. By tho afternoon almost al-most tho only kind to bo had, and not much of that, was halibut. Potatoes are rather badly wanted, too; the vcgetablo markets generally having a greater demand than they can supply. Thero Is somo very nice looking spinach for salo at the wholcsalo price of 6 cents. Eggs, 03 predicted, have an upward tendency; ten-dency; tho price now varies from $5 to $5.25 per case, and It Is probablo that before long tho higher price will predominate. The grain prices are also on tho movo upward; wheat Is now quoted at from 00c to $1.05, but tho low price only applies to somo Inferior qualities, of which thero Is not much to bo had.
