WORKING FROM UTAH Moat Road Soon to Start in Salt Lake PLAN VERY QUICK ENDING t Contracts in Utah as Soon as r 1 Surveys Made t I t 1 Thcro Will Do No Delay in Work from Either End of the Line Says Manager Ridgway It la the Intention of the management of tho Denvor Northwestern Pacific and the ColoradoUtah Construction company to begin work on the line from Salt Lake toward Denver early next year Manager Rldgway of the Con Gtructlon company Is personally going over the routes and will visit tjils city for the purpose of looking into the con ctructlon from this end and the work of surveys Just as soon as the final location Is made Into this city he states that contracts will be let and the construction con-struction pushed from this end so as to advance the time for the final completion com-pletion of the road The contracts let last week l are from n point northwest of Arvnda to the east slope of the Continental divide near Jamess peak It In 1 to be some very heavy work but that Is the reason why the contract has been let so early A J high line will cross the divide temporarily tempo-rarily but n tunnel will be cut through for which contractswJU be later awarded award-ed and the work commenced next nprlng The recent contracts will take the road to the pass sixty miles from Denver Den-ver and by building the high line over the paua the work will not be delayed while the tunnel Is building
