and marigold formed the decorations II decora-tions of the rooms where the I guests were received and dahlias In the room where refreshments wore served Coffee Cof-fee and chocolate were served by Mrs Arthur Bird and Mrs Union Worlhlng ton Mrs U K Klschur and Mrs Robert Ilarlcness and assisting In serving refreshments re-freshments were Miss Hammer Miss Salisbury Miss Sherman Miss Burke and Miss Guddes Mrs Dale Entertains Mrs William II Dale entertained at I two dolightful I oclock teas the first of the week The home was very prettily decorated with woodbine branches of deep red and autumn flowers The din Jngroom was artistically arranged with red asters and ferns and red candles I lighted the tables The reception hall I was very pretty with red dahlias and red asters and baskets of crimson berries ber-ries were suspended over the banisters and archways Those who assisted Mrs Dale were Mrs David Hemphill and Mrs Frank B Stephens Punch was served by Mrs Fred Hale and Mrs George Steiner Mrs Russet L Tracy presided at the coffee urn and Miss Itomola King assisted in the lULU I RogersSnow Wedding On Wednesday evening a very beautiful beauti-ful wedding reception was given at the j home of the brides parents Mr and I Mrs Orson T Rogers in honor of their daughter Katherine and Valentine S Snow whose marriage occurred in the Temple the morning of that day The home was artistically decorated throughout a wreath of autumn flowers and vines being used In the parlor I where the receiving party stood the I decorations were all In green and white A pretty canopy extended from the bay I window to the chandelier composed of I streamers of white satin ribbon entwined en-twined with smIlax Palms stood on cither side and formed a background for the receiving party which included I I in addition to the bride and groom Mr I I and Mrs Orson Roecrs and Mr and j Mrs F R Snow White carnations and asters adorned the mantel and vases of the same flowers stood on tho piano and I I tables Pink asters with palms and srnl lax were seen in the library while sunflowers sun-flowers and great bows of yelloW ribbon I I I formed the striking decorations of the living room The decorations of the I dlnlnl room were simple but very effectual effec-tual A small table stood in the center of the room beneath the chandelier From the chandelier to the corners of the table red ribbons extended the table ta-ble Itself being almost hidden with sm lax and masses of red asters Seen I small tables were used for refreshments i the decorations of each representing a different color including pink 1 white maroon yellow red lavender and purple pur-ple Mrs O P Arnold presided In the diningroom and was assisted by InS In-S T Whitney Misses Retlu Pyper Hattie Whitney Ethel Rogers Gertrude Moyle Lena Moore Rachel Snow and Mable Snow 3n the hall where the punch was served the decorations consisted con-sisted of American flags and palms with smilax entwining the staircase Punch was served by Misses Gladys Rogers Lucile Young and Gertrude Snow SnoThc brides gown was a very dainty creation of pearl white crepe dc chine made over taffeta and trimmed In wool fiber lace A cash of broad white satin ribbon completed the gown Some 300 friends attended the reception and showered the couple with congratulations congratula-tions and good wishes Mr and Airs Snow will be at home after October loth at 18S R street I An Enjoyable Tea On Monday afternoon a very pleasant I time was spent at the tea given by Mrs C I Tuttle and Mrs William Bartllng of Emery Hats The tea was given In honor of Mrs Sparks v Ife of Nevadas chief executive but owing to serious Illness Ill-ness Mrs Sparks was obliged to leave for California on Sunday evening much to the regret of those who had anticipated antici-pated the pleasure of meeting her Mrs Tattles home was very prettily decorated deco-rated for the occasion the reception hall in sunflowers and palms the parlors In I red asters and
