Show WEEKLY HEALTH REPORT The births reported to the Hoard of Health for the week ending October 3rd were twelve less than reported during I the preceding week and nine less than for the same week of last year Twenty Twen-ty t births were reported nine being males and eleven females The deaths for the week were seven fewer than the week before and fourteen four-teen less than were reported during the corresponding week of 1002 Of the fifteen fif-teen deaths reported nine were males and six female At the close of last report there was one case of scarlet fevei remaining1 quarantine no new cases have been reported re-ported and none hove been discharged leaving the number in quarantine the same as the preceding week One case of diphtheria was reported during the week und none have recovered re-covered leaving two cases In detention deten-tion as against one for the week before be-fore There were two new cases of smallpox small-pox In quarantine at the close of last week three new cases developed during dur-ing the week and two having1 been discharged dis-charged leaves three cases at the close i of this report Thirtyone cases of typhoid fever were reported during the week I Only two new cases of typhoid fever I were reported yesterday The sufferers are Mrs Emma Tlookridgc aged 35 I years Si G street and Gladys Barrows I aged 2 years 152 East Fifth South t street |
