Show I MOTORS IN DiE RACES Modifications of Rules Decided Upon by Board of Control Boston April 27 Members of the board of control of the National Cycling Cy-cling association today after examining examin-ing a number of motor machines used In bicycle races as pacemakers decided decid-ed on some modifications of the rules The new rules provide that the rear wheel shall not exceed 12 Inches In diameter and that the width of the motor shall not exceed Gl ½ Inches To cover cams and necessary plate etc a width of MIA Inches Is allowed The entire tandem shall not In any part wlth the exception of handlebars and pedals exceed 26 Inches To prevent the stuffing of towels etc under saddles sad-dles It was decided that W1 the roar seat shall not be more than 10 inches across and 3 Inches from top to bottom |
