TALON FOREIGN MEATS New York Labor Union to Urge Congress Con-gress to Remove Duties New York Aprll 27The Central Federated union today adopted resolutions resolu-tions calling upon the American Federation Fed-eration of Labor to assist in urging Congress to remove the tax on foreign meats until such time as tho price of domestic meats Is reduced The resolutions reso-lutions in part follow Resolved That the Central Federated Union of Greater New York and vicinity ask the assistance of tho American Federation Fed-eration in bringing pressure to bear on Congress to accomplish the passage of a bill withdrawing the tnxes from foreign for-eign meats and thus compel the hoe trust to loner the prices of tls meats hereby putting an end to the suffering ruin and misery now balng caused by the beef trusts high prices
