Show JORDAN APPLIES FOR WPA FUNDS Improvements To We Made at Bingham, Cop-perfield Cop-perfield and Copperton Important improvements in school buildings and grounds will be made this summer if the application ap-plication of Jordan school district dis-trict for $151,000 WPA project is approved, Charles M. Beckstead, building superintendent said this week. Bingham Central school's play-I play-I ground would be improved by a drainage system, leveling of the ground and erection of a retaining retain-ing wall; The Copperfield drainage system sys-tem at school would be finished and the building's basement enlarged; en-larged; several school houses in the district would have roofs and furniture repaired; construction of tennis courts on junior high school grounds, and additions to playgrounds of the district will be made.
