Music Pupils Prepare For Region Meet The music department of the Bingham high school is bending every effort to prepare for the regional music contest to be held at Murray May 4 and 5. Band music for the contest will include in-clude the following: High school band in class C playing for warm-up march, "Lineup"; selective overture, "Midnight Sun", and required number, "Overture Militaire". The junior high band of 50 members will be stepped up from class E to class C, and will play for warm-up number, "Military Escort"; selective, "Lustspiel", and required, "Midnight Sun." The mixed chorus of 45 voices will sing "I Pass by Your Window" Win-dow" and "Rain in the River". The girls chorus of 25 voices will sing "Lullaby Isle" and "Song from Paradise". The boys' quartet quar-tet will sing, "I Love a Little Cottage", and the girls' double trio will render, "In My Garden'. Approximately 180 students from Bingham high school will be entered in music contest e-vents, e-vents, according to Joel Jensen, iiigh school music instructor. .. I |
