thereof Be It ordained bv the City Council of Salt Lake City Utah Section 1 That the City Council does hereby levy the tax and provide for thu assessment upon the property hereinafter described abutting on both sides of First street between Stato and A streets In Paving district No 17 This tax is levied to defray the expense of grading curbing and paving said portion por-tion of said street and it Is hereby adjudged ad-judged determined and established that the grading curbing and paving of said street will thereby benefit the property abutting thereon and hereinafter described de-scribed to the full amount of the estimated esti-mated cost thereof Said property Is to bo assessed at an rqunl and uniform rate In accordance with the linear fool frontage upon said portion of said street The cost and expanse of making said improvement Is estimated at seven and 60100 7 SO dollars per linear front foot and the tax hereby levied and to be assessed as-sessed upon said property is seven and 0100 780 dollars per front foot abutting abut-ting on said portion of said street and the City Treasurer Is hereby authorized and directed to assess said property In accordance accord-ance with the provisions of this ordinance for the purpose herein mentioned The property herein assessed consists of the following described lots and pieces of ground to wit All of lots 7 3 10 11 12 and 13 block 1 and all of lots 1 to Fi Inclusive block 2 pint hI all of lots 3 and 1 block II and all of lots 1 and L block 13 plat D Salt Lake City survey as the same are shown upon the first shall draw Interest at the rate of 7 per cent per annum from tho time of nol levy no-l aforesaid and If any or either of said Installments shall be unpaid when they I become delinquent interest thereon shall be at the rate of 10 per cent per annum until such delinquent installments arc fully paid Section 3 That the entire amount of lax so levied and assessed on said property proper-ty may be paid by the owner of any of said property or the entire equal proportion propor-tion of said tax upon any piece of property proper-ty may be paid by any person on any part thereof within ninety 90
