Show HAD NARROW ESCAPE Mrs a D Doull Struck by a StreetCar Street-Car Mrs G D Doull an aged woman whose home Is at 730 East Brigham street narrowly escaped a serious if not fatal accident In front of her home yesterday morning Shortly before be-fore noon Mrs Doull signaled a westbound west-bound car on Brigham street evi I lently with the Intention of going to town The motorman in response to her signal put on the brakes and began to stop the car but before the car was brought to a standstill Mrs Doull attempted to cross in front of It with the result that she was struck and thrown to the ground The car however was stopped before passing over her body When picked up it was found that no bones wore broken but she was quite severely bruised Her lead was lying on the track and had the car not been stopped Just when It vas the accident must have been far more serious Mrs Doull was carried Into her home near by and last night vas reported as recovering from the shock of the accidents |
