as-semble In front of the Dooly block on West Second South street and they took their places as promptly as I trained veterans are wont to respond c to the call of the bugle There were types of men fiom the city man to the U real cowboy and of horses there were the spirited thoroughbred the handsome p hand-some Arabian and the less nttracllve and untrained bronco but the horses as a rule were well above the average For the most part the riders wore the conventional white hats blue shirts ci and leggings which gave them a pleasing pleas-ing and uniform appearance but a few from the city In
