afternoon were so pleasant that it was anticipated that the opening would be most auspicious and even with Hie t April shower thc incmbors made merry around a roaring log lire The grounds were inspected arid much enthusiasm was shown by 1 all Some fow of till men started a same of golf and afterward refreshments refresh-ments were served In the clubhouse which had been prettily decorated with fruit blossoms from the orchard and cut flowers The grounds are being ouickly put in shape The golf links are completed and the lawn tennis court laid out while the clubhouse has been very
