Show I RECEPTION TO BRYAN I Tammany Hall Arranging to Wel I como Nebraskan I I I New York Sept ISThe preliminary prelimi-nary arrangement for the reception to W J Bryan and the recepton naming of a subcommittee to be Intrusted with the details wore perfected tonight at a meeting of Tammany Hall committee on ratification Richard Croker rtlcnlon presided pre-sided and on his motion William R Hearst president of the National asso ciation of Democratic clubs was made vicechairman of the gathering In a speech Mr Croker said that It was the desire Tammany Hall to Hal tender to Mr Bryan the greatest recep tion ever given to a Presidential candi date He predicted that 100000 voters of 100 Greater New York would assemble in I I and around Madison 1ason Square Garden on October 16th the night of the reception I Mr Bryan has signified his Intention I I to speak and that his speech ntenton may Sieccl heard In nil parts of the garden a sounding board will be erected behind the speakers platform A hundred and fifty ushers rIil be in attendance and four great stands will accommodate the I overflow outside the garden |
