Show S Death of Mrs Mary Wilson During the past week there reached tho city the sad news of the death of Mrs Mary Wilson which occurred on September 10 IDOI at St Johns hos pltal Yonkers N T HH the result 1 of t blood poisoning consequent to an operation op-eration The Interment look place at Auburn N Y where nor brother Rev Samuel Mucpherson of the Episcopal > t church and her sister Miss Margaret reside her other sister Miss Elizabeth lives i In Salt Lake Mary Maephcrson was born near Edinburgh Scotland but came to this country shortly after her graduation from the Edinburgh Normal school and was united in manlags lo George Wilson Wil-son of Salt Lnke After Mr Wilsons sd death she engaged In teaching In the publlu schools but icigncd her position posi-tion In 1898 to take a two years course at the Pratt Art institute of Brooklyn Upon completing her studies she was made assistant supervisor oC drawing at Yonkers and continued till the time ao of f her last illness to perform these duties with the marked success that chaiacterlzod all her work Mrs Wilson was a merrbc of the First Presbyterian church of this city I and her untimely death falls as a very heavy blow upon her hosts of friends In religious and educational circles hoth rh hero and in Yonkers for her brilliant mind strong and beautful rand r-and brave sweet soul won the admlra LIon and affection of al who knew her Her busy life always filled to overflow Ing i with loving earnest toll for other is i over for her Is the blessing given to those who rest from their labors and their works do follow them |
