F Stoll the directorgeneral full of fdeas and full of energy did his best for the fairs success An astounding feature of the show was in the fact that no crowd 01 the size for so many days consecutively consecu-tively has gathered In Salt Lako with a smaller record for crime accidents or hoodlumlsm Only one robbery was reported no one was Injured and of the few fights none were consequential There has been some criticism of the I German village True there was boisterousness bois-terousness and during the late hours t the character of the crowd was not above reproach but a force of a dozen special policemen marked a limit of privilege and succeeded in keeping tho people within bounds FREED IS PLEASED Exalted Ruler Freed was smiling last night It has surpassed our expectations expec-tations said he and everybody Is more than satisfied There has never been anything like it in Salt Lake We want to thank the people for their patronage pat-ronage and everybody who
