(29) Temporary buildings for uses incidental to construction ORDINANCE The Board of County Commissioners Commis-sioners of Salt Lake County, State of Utah, ordains as follows: WHEREAS, application has been received by the Board of County Commissioners of Salt Lake County requesting an amendment to the text of the Zoning Ordinance for said County; Coun-ty; and WHEREAS, said application has received due and careful consideration by the Salt Lake County Planning Commission and the Board of County Commissioners Com-missioners of Salt Lake County; and WHEREAS, all requirements of law incident to the approval of said application and making said amendment effective have been met. NOW THEREFORE, in consideration con-sideration of the premises and for the purpose of promoting the health, safety, morals, convenience, conveni-ence, order, prosperity and welfare wel-fare of the present and future inhabitants of Salt Lake County, including amongst other things, the lessening of congestion in the streets or roads or reducing the waste of excessive amounts of roads, securing safety from fire and other dangers, providing provid-ing adequate light and air, clas- work including living quarters for a guard or night watchman, which buildings must be removed re-moved upon the completion or abandonment of the construction work. This Ordinance shall become effective and in force on the 17th day of May, A.D. 1962, which is more than 15 days after its final passage and approval and upon its publication in a newspaper of general circulation within Salt Lake County. : ... DEFINITIONS. (28) Dwelling. Any building, or portion thereof, which is designed de-signed for use for residential purposes, except hotels, apartment apart-ment hotels, boarding houses, lodging houses, mobile homes, tourist courts and apartment courts. (51a) Mobile Home. Any vehicle ve-hicle or similar portable structure struc-ture having been constructed with wheels (whether or not such wheels have been removed) and having no foundation other than wheels, jacks or skirtings and so designed or constructed as to permit occupancy for dwelling dwell-ing or sleeping purposes. Mobile homes used for residential or sleeping purposes shall be governed gov-erned by the yard and area requirements re-quirements of single-family dwellings unless located in a mobile home park in which case the requirements of the Mobile Home Park Ordinance shall apply. ap-ply. The requirements of this Ordinance shall not be construed to prevent the storage of a mobile mo-bile home in the rear yard of a dwelling structure. A mobile home so stored may be temporarily tempo-rarily used for sleeping purposes by members, or guests, of the family residing in the dwelling structure but the mobile home shall not be connected to utilities utili-ties or used for residential or permanent sleeping purposes. (51b) Mobile Home Park. Any plot of ground upon which two or more mobile homes, occupied for dwelling or sleeping pur-. pur-. poses, are located, regardless of whether or not a charge is made for such accommodation.
