Show Mrs. Samuel D. Wynn Succumbs in Salt Lake Hospital Ti ' 4 ', " - 1 f f , MRS. SAMUEL D. WYNN Mrs. Samuel D. (Irma) Wynn, 69, 51-7th East, for many years an active member of the Utah Democratic Party, died Sunday in a Salt Lake Hospital after a stroke. Mrs. Wynn had been vice chairman of the Third Senatorial District in Salt Lake City and had been a candidate for both the Utah State Senate and the House of Representatives. She was born in Richmond, Va July 26, 1892. She was married to Samuel D. Wynn in Rocky Mount, N.C., and their marriage later was solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She was a member of the Utah Women's Legislative Council, Coun-cil, Salt Lake District Federation of Womens Clubs, the Salt Lake Women's Safety Council, Salt Lake Mothers Club and Service Star Legion. For 10 years she was a member of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir. Surviving are her husband, two sons, Samuel D. Wynn, Jr., and Edward S. Wynn, 13 grandchildren grand-children and a brother and sisters, sis-ters, Ann Van Setten, Edythe Wakefield and Emma Audrey Lund. |
