Show Henderson Urges Democrats to "Go" for Victory "The word for Democrats in 1962 is 'Go' on to Victory!" said William H. (Bill) Henderson, Hender-son, candidate for the Democratic Demo-cratic nomination for Utah attorney at-torney general in a speech in Sanpete County. "It is for the best interests not only of the Democrats, but of all Americans that we have progressive leadership in our country. The public interest is critically at stake in many areas this year. Besides the overriding issue of foreign policy, issues of health, education and full employment em-ployment face our leaders. "The rights of the people of Utah under the constitution and statutes of Utah are guarded by the attorney general, the office I am seeking. In guarding and protecting those rights the attorney attor-ney general acts as your attorney. He protects your health, your pocketbook, ypur business, and he guards your water rights so vital to Utah's economy. He has a role in every state activity. "I pledge devotion to public interest if chosen for this important im-portant office and will serve all the people." |
