Show by law is unworkable and it discriminates against minority groups. Let's hope that future legislatures tempted to bring this dead duck to life again will have the good sense to look over the record of past failures before taking up valuable time again. Sunday Closing Is Dead Governor George D. Clyde's veto of the Sunday closing law and the Senate's subsequent failure to override it should bury that foolish legislation for another decade or so. The idea of Sunday closing now has been refuted by the courts the judical arm and by the governor the executive arm. Only the legislative arm of our three pronged government set up has failed to knock it down.
