Mr. Martin is interested in the Queen of Sheba group of mines, which are considered to be among the most promising In the Spring Creek district. The Queen of Sheba has & rich body of mineral bearing ore In gold and silver, and is located directly on the mineral zone. Mr. Martin sent four men out to his mines last week to add to 1 his force now at work. He is await ing the arrival of J. "VV. Smith, the mining expert, who is now in Montana looking over some properties. Mr. Smith will go to Spring Creek with Mr. Martin and take charge of the workings of the Queen of Sheba. From the same authority it is learned that a number of miners, for lack of work, have taken leases on several Piocho mines and are taking out considerable fair-grade ore.
