Show Wyoming Man on Suicide Bent. A stranger, giving his name as McGinley, and claiming to be a blacksmith hailing from Wyoming, was found in a gutter last evening in a semi-comatose condition and taken to the city hall, where he stated that he had taken morphine with suicidal intent. Dr. Beatty examined him, and, seeing that the oequel would not be a fatal one, left the would-be self-murderer to his own unpleasant unpleas-ant reflections. In an hour or so McGinley had revived sufficiently to again go out into the cold, unfeeling world, and, when last seen, was making a bee-line for a cheap lodging house. |
