Show READY FOR FIGHT. A War Wreaks out la the Salt Lake Medical Society and is Only Suppressed by ai Adjournment. At the meeting of the Salt Lake Medical society last night, just before adjournment, lr. MeAchran arose and stated that he had heard that a member of the society charged that there was a member of the society who had no call to belong to the organization, because be-cause of unprofessional conduct in the way of advertising; and that he (MeAchran) was the guilty person. Dr. McLean here arose to say that he was the party who had made the remark referred to, but as he had not mentioned any names,' he did not feel called upon to make any explanation. ex-planation. Dr. MeAchran declared it far from his in tention to stir up any unpleasantness, and he did not take the offensive remark to himself him-self until told he was the alleged offender. MeAchran then said: "I deny the proposition. propo-sition. It was made with maliciousness aforethought. It is not true, and I know that the man who made the charge knew that it was untrne when he made it." The chair observed that the proper way when any such allegations were made, would lie to prefer charges wiih the proper committee, who tvould investigate.
