CT- W Register Hobbs of the United States land flice in this city has written to the commissioner commis-sioner of the general land office at Washington Washing-ton for instructions regarding the character of entering lauds presumed to contain natural nat-ural gas. At present the register is of the opinion that this character of lands can only be taken up under the rules applicable to agricultural. The Continental is tho local headquarters for the Sumraltt county delegation to the liberal convention.
