Acting Secretary Sec-retary Nettletoiuhas received a letter from Neidringhaus, president of the St. Louis Stamping company, replying to Secretary Foster's recent fetter relating relat-ing to the employment of foreign-skilled foreign-skilled labor for the tin plate industry. Mr. Neidringhaus claims that for the successful operation of this industry it is necessary to have a number of skilled laborers fresh from the business as connected con-nected in Furope today. The foreign labor needed, he says, will not amount to ten per ceut of the whole number of employees. This sort of help cannot bo obtained in the home market. |
