Show 0er U300.000 for Pontage Stamps. The most valuable of all private collections collec-tions belongs to M. Philippe de Ferrari, pf the Galliera family, who regularly attends at-tends the Paris mart to enrich his album. This family souvenir has already cost more than three hundred thousand dollars, dol-lars, or a million and a half of francs. The acquisition of stamps seoms to be the only object for which M. Ferrari considered his mother's millions good enough to be spent, for he has been known to pay from $800 to $-500 for a collection from which he wanted only a single stamp. Paris Letter. |
