The little ten-year-old boy of Walter Clark, of Bingham, met his death yesterday yes-terday afternoon while playing on the track of tho Kio Grande Western. A freight train was backing up and the little fellow failed to notice it. He was cut in two and crushed all out of semblance. sem-blance. Postponed for a Week. Tho annual meeting of the Wyoming, Salt Lake & California Railroad company, com-pany, which was to have been held yesterday yes-terday afternoon, was deferred for one week. When completed, tho road will he of inestimable value to Salt Lake City, as it will afford direct and cheap communication with certain mines in Nevada, which are as yet undeveloped. Here at Last. The office fixtures of the Rio Grande Western auditor arrived in Salt Lake yesterday. Tho names of the clerks are J. F. Evans, J. S. Evaus, Messrs. Hill, Miller, Lindsay,. Burbar, Brown, Moody, Scott, Williams, Petat, Kincaid, Bradley, aud Taggart. Some of the gentlemen brought their wives with them. " , - : . The Short Line to Park City. The Utah Central will begin ruuniug regular trains between Salt Lake City and Park City next Thursday. May 1st. The morning train will leave for Park City at 7:30, from the foot of Maiu street. The train from Park City will leave there at 4:30 p. m., and arrive iu Salt Lake at 7 pJ m, The distance' is 30 miles. The new road is tho Short Lino and scenic route between tho Queen City of tho Valley and the Gem of the Mountains. Two daily1 trains each way will soon be put on. . Railway Note, and Personals.
