Show Ancient Srenea Depleted. The archaic, room iu tho British museum mu-seum is now approaching completion. On tho west side ot the gallery Btands the harpy tomb, formerly on the Acropolis Acro-polis of Xunthos in Lycia. Tho harpies are seen sculptured in bas relief, carrying carry-ing off the souls of the daughters of Pan dareoB, a Lycian hero. On the north and south walls of tho room are arranged the casts of the pedimentul groups from the temple of Athene, in .Egina.. The originals, orig-inals, it will be romembered, are at Munich. Mu-nich. They represent the expedition of JEginaten heroos against Troy, guided by Athene or Minerva, and the contest of the Greeks and Trojans over the body of Patroclus, described in the "Iliad."
