FARMINGTON Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Shrope nd family wish to extend sincere thanks for the many expressions of kindness and aid rendered in the death and services for their son, Lawrence Shrope. They also express ex-press thanks for the beautiful floral offerings. The little infant son of Mr. nd Mrs Joseph Bybee, who had been so ill since birth, three months ago passed away rarlv Wednesday morning. Funeral services will be conducted Friday evening under the direction of Bishop John R. Walsh. Mr. and Mrs. K. E. Clark of Los Angeles arrived here Sunday evening. even-ing. Mr. Clark after conducting some business returned home Wednesday Wed-nesday morning. Mrs. Clark and children will remain for a few weeks,, with her parents and other relatives here and in Sandy, Utah. Miss Doris Griffith left Wednesday Wednes-day morning for a short visit in Los Angeles with her sister, Mrs. Tressa Smith. Very impressive funeral services were held Sunday afternoon for Lawrence Harding Shrope, 15, son of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Shrope of Farmington who met with an accident acci-dent while hunting ground squirrels squir-rels with a 22 caliber gun in company com-pany with Max Mortensen also of Farmirrgton on Thursday. The services ser-vices were in charge of Bishop John R. Walsh. Musical numbers were furnished by the ward choir, in chorus , and solos. Mr. David Hughes rendered a vocal solo "Lay by Head Beneath a Rose". The invocation in-vocation was offered by William Millard. The speakers were: Heber J. Sessions, George Q. Knowlton, Edward B. Clark and Bishop Walsh The benediction was offered by Wis ter Wallace. Burial was in the Farmington city cemetery, the grave being dedicated by Elder Edward F. Clark. The accident happened when the boys were taking tak-ing turns targeting with the gun, and Lawrence stooped down to |
