Show Headquarters Co. 940 June 11, Co. 940 was favored with a visit from Chaplin Curtis and three people from Midvale, Utah. Thty were Misses Anderson and Donaldson and Mr. Porter. Miss Anderson and Mr. Porter gave three duets and two solos accompanied accom-panied by Miss Donaldson. Caplin Curtis then delivered a short talk on "responsibility." The members of Co. 940 enjoyed the program immensely. It seems as though Co. 940 can't get over that fatal eighth inning. When they met the Layton team at Layton on June 13, they started out with a bang and led the Layton boys 6.4 at the last of the seventh inning, then, as has been the case in every league game, the opposing team started a rally and put the score up 7-6. Layton rallied again in the ninth to make the final score 10-6. This was the first game for Lowe as a catcher and he made a good name for himself behind the bat. Sid White, churcker for the C's, made a record in the Davis county league this year by fanning nineteen men. Davini, shortstop for the C's, was also outstanding. Due to the errors on the part of the camps second baseman, several runs came in for Layton. Mr. Ed.
