Show Girl Scouts Make Plans For Summer The three troop committees of the Girl Scout organization met at the home of Mrs. J. C. Lelser in Copperton on Monday. Plans for the annual camping trip were discussed. Charleston was selected se-lected as a suitable camp site and the week of July 12 was set as a tentative date for the trip. Arrangements were also made for a party to be held at the Civic Center on June 23, at 7 p.m. for oil Girl Scouts and their mothers. An interesting program will be featured. fea-tured. The paptains and assistants of the Girl Scouts met at their regular regu-lar monthly meeting last Thursday at the Civic Center with Mrs. Nona Carrlgan in charge. Discussions and plans were made concerning the program to be followed fol-lowed at the annual camping trip to be taken in July. Those leaders present Included Miss Melba Ner-dln, Ner-dln, Miss Virginia Earl, Miss Lo-reen Lo-reen Nepple, Miss Mary Kokles and Mrs. Bessie Aven. |
