Show y v BENEFIT BALL GAME SLATED FOR SUNDAY According to Al Ablett, ' manager man-ager of the Gemmell club base ball team, a benefit game will be plaed at the Utah Copper park next Sunday afternoon, May 3, between the Pinney Beverage ' team and the Gemmell clubmen. Proceeds will be given to Red Muir, veteran member of the Gemmell club team, who has been confined to a local hospital for several months following an accident acci-dent in the mine. Muir has played ball with the 1 1 I a . r .1 uemmeu ooys tor 10 years ana was an outstanding catcher in the league. As a result of the mine accident last fall, Red suffered in-; Juries to his legs that will probably prob-ably keep him out of baseball permanently. It is desired that a large crowd attend this benefit game, which will be the first exhibition of the season in Bingham. |
